The Railway, Cottingham

Our New Kitchen Team 

The kitchen at the Railway has been taken over by chef Wendy Rowley. Wendy was the head chef and owner of Wednesdays in Beverley and brings her modern touch to our menu of traditional pub favourites.

All our food, soups, starters, main and puddings are prepared and cooked by Wendy in the Railway kitchens. She sources her ingredients locally, such as Pete's Cottingham Butcher's sausages and free ranges eggs from Willerby Hill.

In addition to the main menu there are daily specials, with home made soups, pies and delicious desserts (try that lemon meringue stack or home made sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce)

On Sunday, the Railway carvery features perfectly roasted traditional beef, gammon and turkey, with all the trimmings; roasties, Yorkshire puds and fresh seasonal vegetables. Meat is provided by Pullens Bucthers of Cottingham.
